ACTIVO SCOOP EARPHONES LAUNCH IN THE UK WITH ASTELL&KERN TUNING
ACTIVO has announced UK availability of its ACTIVO Scoop earphones, a wired in-ear model developed with tuning from Astell&Kern.
The launch comes amid continued interest in wired listening solutions, with the product positioned as a flexible option for use across multiple devices.
ACTIVO SCOOP EARPHONES
A key feature of the ACTIVO Scoop earphones is their interchangeable connectivity, offering USB-C, 3.5mm and balanced 4.4mm connections. This allows compatibility with smartphones, laptops, handheld consoles and dedicated digital audio players. The inclusion of a 4.4mm balanced output is intended to support improved channel separation and reduced noise when used with compatible sources.
DRIVER CONFIGURATION
The ACTIVO Scoop earphones use a five-driver hybrid design, comprising one 8mm dynamic driver, two 6mm dynamic drivers and two balanced armature drivers. These are combined via a proprietary acoustic port structure, alongside an integrated cable terminal circuit aimed at maintaining signal stability. The specified frequency response is 20Hz–20kHz, with impedance rated at 10 Ohms and sensitivity at 105dB/mW.
DESIGN AND ACCESSORIES
The housing design takes inspiration from a smooth, pebble-like form, with an emphasis on comfort for extended listening. The supplied cable is a braided seven-core design using silver-plated copper and oxygen-free copper. Included accessories consist of silicone and memory foam ear tips in three sizes, along with a carry pouch.
